About Laura Pantazis

 

Laura was admitted into the Virginia State Bar on November 10, 2020.  Prior to her admittance into the state bar, she had been a paralegal since 2006, and a private process server since 1998.  Laura also worked as a court and title researcher between the years of 2004 and 2006.

 

Her education includes studying the law for three years (2017 - 2020) in the Virginia Law Reader Program.  She earned a Bachelor of Science from Mary Washington College in 2003 and a Paralegal Certificate from George Mason University in 2015.  She holds two certificates in West Law research, and is a Virginia Notary Public.  

 

Laura's work history as a paralegal started in 2006, when she became the sole paralegal and office manager for the law office of Rose M. Pantazis.  In 2016, Laura became a freelance paralegal with the company she created, Paralegal & Process Services, LLC.  

 

As a paralegal, Laura had extensive experience in assisting attorneys in case strategy and drafting a variety of legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery, motions, and orders. Along with preparing legal documents, she is well versed in legal research and analyzation.

 

Laura had experience working as a paralegal in a wide variety of cases including collections, breach of contract, landlord/ tenant, estates, criminal, personal injury, and particularly domestic work.

Laura served as the Fredericksburg Area Legal Secretary Association's secretary for the year 2016. She was a main contributor in creating and editing the 2017 FALSA directory of local attorneys.

 

Currently Laura is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Fredericksburg Bar Association.
